Motofestival in Ancient Kyiv
The Principality of Kyivan Rus invites on July, 19-21 to make an unforgettable time travel into the epoch of brave knights and to spend these days in Ancient Kyiv in the Principality of Kyivan Rus. All the bikers, the motorcycle lovers and everybody who wants to have a great weekend are awaited by a bright second Motofestival «Heady Wind».
In the Principality of Kyivan Rus it will be possible to walk the streets of the medieval city, to see the wooden defensive structures, the Kyivers` mansions of the Х-ХII cc., the first reconstructed Christian temple on Rus, to observe the open air and museums` expositions, to see the colorful citizens of the Middle Ages or even ride a horse from the Princely stable. During three days the visitors will not only see Ancient Kyiv but will become a part of history and will feel its spirit.
PARK in Ancient Kyiv!
Apart from exploring our history a rich program which will be interesting for everybody, from young to old, both for women and men will be waiting for the guests of Ancient Kyiv on July, 19-21. On Friday, July, 19 the bikers from all over Ukraine and abroad will start arriving to Ancient Kyiv. A moto-column from Kyiv will be traditionally organized. At 18:00 everyone willing to join meets near the Vydybytskiy monastery (Vydybytska str., behind the Paton Bridge on the way from the center). The beginning of the column at 19:00. And, as always, the brave, courageous and responsible professionals of the Motobat will be accompanying the column.
On Friday, July, 19 a program will start in Ancient Kyiv on the main tilting-yard at 20:00 and will last till late night. The young talents and experienced musicians will start the event. And for dessert– the crazy and fiery Pochep Beat. On the festival scene – «The Man of the year», «The best violin of Europe», the performer of the compositions in the «symphonic rock» style. The lovers of quality music – this is for you. Also the men are awaited by a present – the dances performed by slender and brilliant girls. We`ll cut loose as long as we can! For the comfort of the guests on the territory we have clean toilets, showers and, for sure – the food points with tasty dishes, meat from the bonfire and drinks will be working.
On Saturday, July, 20 the festival will go on. Ancient Kyiv will open for visitors at 10:00, and after 11:00 the museums, expositions, locations, master-classes and other entertainments will start working. About 14:00 the solemn opening with the historical characters, horse performances and the Kyivan Prince Volodymyr the Great himself will begin on the main tilting-yard. The guests will get a chance to participate in the merry active program, join the rope pulling and the dance flash-mobs.
Till 19:00 the spectacular performances on the main tilting-yard will be waiting for the guests: horse shows, theatrical programs, games with the viewers and flash-mobs, the presentation of the historical horse breeds and much more. Also on Saturday it will be possible to enjoy the demonstration of skills and talents of the children`s motoclub from Belarus (c. Minsk) and other teams. Funny motodogs, thrilling horse-trick programs and amusing piglets will give the guests unforgettable impressions.
In Ancient Kyiv everyone can chose an activity he likes: shoot a bow, try on a costume of the Kyivan Rus times and make a photo session, ride on a horseback or in a carriage, mint a coin «for luck», have a rest on a bank of the picturesque Forest lake, take part in various master-classes. It will also be possible to buy on the master`s fair or make with your own hands original souvenirs.
From 19:00 till 22:00 the program will continue on the amphitheatre and will smoothly go about 22:00 into the fiery dance floor with the performance of the Dj Natasha Rostova. Music and dancing will last till the very late.
The friends and partners of the festival: the printing company Gala Print, the team of the Paragliding professionals, the radio station «Kyiv 98 FM» and other mass-media, the crew of the yacht «Nadezhda», МСС Chopper Brothers and many others.
On Sunday, July, 21 the guests are awaited by a show-program «The world of horses», which will begin at 14:00. Thrilling horse performances, the presentation of the unique historical horse breeds, horseback archery from the best horseback archers of the country and the possibility to spend the day in the atmosphere of Kyivan Rus, having become a part of the medieval city – Ancient Kyiv yourself will be waiting for the guests.
A feeling of adrenaline for the guests will be provided by the fascinating zipline Politailo (where everyone can not only descend from the height, but also fly over the lake), as well as the high-speed slide “Zmey Gorynych”, after which you can take a picture with a fire-breathing dragon..

If you want to find the most unique place near the water, then the lake of the Principality "Kievan Rus" is what you are looking for!
The forest lake of Ancient Kiev is open every day. Choosing the best beaches near Kiev, you not only get an opportunity to relax by the water, but also enjoy the medieval entourage of the complex and picturesque nature away from the noisy metropolis.
And of course, you can taste delicious dishes from princes cooks in the Princely Tavern and in food points in the open air and in arbors.

In case of not holding (cancellation) of the event, the Buyer returns 100% of the nominal value of the ticket. In the case of returning a ticket at the buyer's initiative, a commission of 10% is deducted from its value, which is not subject to return to the buyer. The ticket may be returned, in case of a buyer's appeal no later than one day prior to the day of the event, until 16:00 a.m., except for weekends and holidays.
