From May 30 to June 2, Ancient Kiev in the Principality of Kievan Rus (“Kievan Rus Park”) invites guests to an interesting and informative program. Arriving in the "Kievan Rus Park" guests personally see the Ancient Kiev V-XIII centuries, which is recreated in physical size based on scientific knowledge. Here you can feel the atmosphere of Kievan Rus, saturated with the grandeur of victories, the grandeur of medieval buildings and the goodwill of the inhabitants of Ancient Kiev.

Visitors will see the wooden defensive construction “Zaborola” about 300 meters long, the Mikhailovsky Gate 21 meters high, the estate of Kievites of the X-XII centuries, princely towers and stands, recreated the unique wooden Christian church of the 10th century, enjoy the open-air expositions and exhibits in museums.

In Ancient Kiev, brave knights and beautiful ladies of the heart will gather - participants of the festival, who not only take a great interest in studying history from books, but also live it. Thanks to the excursion to the camp, everyone who wants to see firsthand what the life of Medieval Europe really was.

On Saturday, June 1, medieval combat maneuvers will be held on the territory of the Principality. Knights will hold fights, will work out the methods of combat with the use of pole arms, show escort techniques and arrange a siege of the fortress.

Also, visitors will learn a lot about the ancient crafts, the manufacture of different types of fabrics, medieval women's and men's costumes and even the fashion for women's hats XIV-XV centuries. And you can also attend master classes in board games.
