The Principality of Kievan Rus invites to the celebration of the Day of Kyiv
The real celebration of the Kyiv`s Day is the celebration in the atmosphere of the times of its creation. Each Ukrainian will have the possibility to plunge into these times on May, 29-30 in Ancient Kyiv in the Principality of Kyivan Rus, which is situated in Kyivschina.
The Ukrainian`s capital day celebration tradition counts over 35 years since the citizens and its visitors celebrated 1500 years of its creation. At the end of May sport events and concerts, exhibitions and charity actions are held. This is all modernity. Ancient Kyiv in the Principality of "Kyivan Rus" invites for one day to visit ancestors – in the times of princes Volodymyr and Yaroslav, princess Olga.
The celebration program will be interesting as for adults as for children. The theatre of the Principality of "Kyivan Rus" will perform the legend "How Kyiv became Kyiv" about apostle Andriy who predicted the appearance of a great city on the Dnieper hills. In front of the eyes of the visitors of Ancient Kyiv the historical actions will turn out in front of the guests together with the significant milestones in the history of development of the "Russian town`s mother".
The spectacular part of the program will be the demonstration of the martial skills of the princely – skillful riders will recreate the ancient martial arts, will cope with historical weapon and organize a horse-knight tournament.
The "raisin" of the feast will be the colorful carnival of the ancient Slavic characters– historical and mythical. The kyivan prince, bohatyrs and voivode, wood goblin and forest nymphs will stand in front of you. And it will be possible to make an unforgettable photo session with all of them.
Besides the program view every guest of the Ancient Kyiv will have a chance to join the program and become it`s part. The visitors of the medieval city will be invited to fiery flash mobs and competitions. The medieval shooting gallery where everybody can shoot a bow and toss spears and knives will be working on the territory. It will be possible to ride a horse or in a carriage, make a memorable coin on the Princely Mint make a souvenir with your own hands on the master-classes from the folk crafts or buy a ready one in a shop or in the master`s fair.
The pearl of the Saturday program will be the First All-Ukrainian Competition "Little Princess of Kievan Rus 2021". Little clever girls and beauties from all over Ukraine will come to Ancient Kiev to show everyone their skills.
Young beauties will fight for victory in several competition tasks. Among them: the first acquaintance with the audience - the "Performance" competition - the girls will come out in Ukrainian national costume and tell about themselves. The second competition is creative. Here, the participants will show their talents in reading poetry, performing songs or dancing. And in conclusion - the appearance of young princesses in evening dresses.
An authoritative jury headed by the Grand Prince of Kiev Vladimir will choose the most worthy one and will award her with the title "Little Princess of Kievan Rus - 2021".

A feeling of adrenaline for the guests will be provided by the fascinating zipline Politailo (where everyone can not only descend from the height, but also fly over the lake), as well as the high-speed slide “Zmey Gorynych”, after which you can take a picture with a fire-breathing dragon.
And of course, you can taste delicious dishes from princes cooks in the Princely Tavern and in food points in the open air and in arbors.

In connection with unpredictable situations, weather conditions, the administration of the Ancient Kyiv can make changes to the content and timing of the program.
*One entry ticket operates per person for one day of the event!
In case of not holding (cancellation) of the event, the Buyer returns 100% of the nominal value of the ticket. In the case of returning a ticket at the buyer's initiative, a commission of 10% is deducted from its value, which is not subject to return to the buyer. The ticket may be returned, in case of a buyer's appeal no later than one day prior to the day of the event, until 16:00 a.m., except for weekends and holidays.
