The main residence of Santa Claus opens in Ancient Kiev!
On December 19 and 20, in the Principality of Kievan Rus, the grandiose program “New Year's Tale” for children and adults will open. You will experience a real festive mood, horse-drawn sleigh rides, hot meals cooked on a bonfire, drinks and mulled wine, winter fun and New Year's author's performance.
The spectators will see a theatrical action on the main tilting-yard . The theatre of Ancient Kyiv has prepared a new author`s performance, which will be interesting and instructive both for children and for adults. You will not only see an original staging but also get a possibility to become a member of the fairytale yourself! Only in Ancient Kyiv you will hear the re-creation of the long-forgotten language - ancient Slavic. This will be the language of the performance.
Unbelievable adventures of Prince Ivan where he will receive help from the Grey Wolf will be accompanied with special effects: the performances of the horse-trick theatre, the use of the medieval weapon and fire effects. Prince Ivan will not only go in search for the gorgeous Firebird for his father-prince but will also pass through different trials, will face betrayal and find love.
Performance days: December, 19-20, 25-27 and from January, 2-7, 09-10, 16-17.
The grand opening of the Main Residence of St. Nicholas will be held this weekend in Ancient Kiev. And on this occasion there will be a real Carnival of fairy tales. It will bring together fabulous and mythical characters: Angel and Chertik, Leshy and Water, Baba Yaga, Brownie and glorious heroes from the prince's squad.
Also the guests of Ancient Kyiv will get a chance to walk the streets of the re-created city, observe the historical costume, armor and the medieval shipbuilding expositions. In case of not holding (cancellation) of the event, the Buyer returns 100% of the nominal value of the ticket.
