Women's Day in the Kyivan Rus style

Women were revered on our lands since ancient times. The women of Ancient Rus unlike, for example, the Western European ones, were literate, their opinions were considered, their advice was listened to. At that time Princess Olga wisely governed the state during several decades, introduced many useful reforms, the daughter of Yaroslav the Wise became the wife of the French king and instilled in him culture and manners. And the granddaughter of Yaroslav, princess Yanka opened the first school for girls in Kyiv and traveled with a diplomatic mission to Byzantium.

In the «Kyivan Rus Park» on March, 06-08 the wise, beautiful and stronghearted women of antiquity will be remembered and the modern women will be congratulated. The ceremony of awarding the princess title to the gentle sex representatives of all ages will be the most solemn part of the celebration. The princess`s title can be obtained by anyone by passing an interesting ritual.

After this, a program with interesting theatrical performances, merry games and prize competitions will start. The horse-trick theatre performance will be a pleasant gift for women.

A feeling of adrenaline for the guests will be provided by the fascinating zipline Politailo, on which everyone can not only descend from a height, but also fly over the lake and the high-speed slide “Zmiy Gorynych”, after which it will be possible to take a picture with a fire-breathing dragon.

And of course, you can taste delicious dishes from princely cooks in the open air food points and in arbors.
