For the first time a marvelous world of Slavic fairytales and bylinas in Ancient Kiev in the “Kievan Rus Park” will be expressed in wonderful wooden sculptures that will be situated on the banks of a picturesque lake. The best wooden sculpture masters from Ukraine and other countries will come here. They will be creating their masterpieces during a couple of days, transforming the wood into historical figures, the fairytales and bylinas characters for demonstrating them finally to the jury and the Ancient Kiev visitors. Over 10 masters` teams will be taking part in the festival.
That means a great fairytale town of wooden sculptures will find its` place on a green picturesque bank of an emerald lake near the Detynetz of Kiev. An entertaining program with the horse-trick theatre, interesting competitions and flashmobs will take place on the big tilting-yard.
The knight fights within the “Knight of the Kievan Detinetz” and the motorcycle exhibition from the event partners – Harley Davidson company will become the entertaining actions.
